I checked out the Assignment Calculator and the Research Project Calculator. Mostly, it seems like a tutorial on how to write a paper. I can see how it would be useful since it is user-friendly and laid-out in a step-by-step way. To someone to hasn't tackled a college level report before, that'd probably be less daunting than grabbing a whole book on the topic.
In my setting, I don't see a lot of direct application - aside from referring someone to it who is asking for help with their assignments, a question we do get occasionally.
